Originally from London Henry moved to Bristol with his parents at a young age, and was educated at Clifton College and afterwards at Westminster College, Oxford.
Henry started his career with an agency in the capital, before heading back to Bristol to join Hydes in 2001. In the past 20 years, he has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the local property scene embracing the city, its suburbs, and the surrounding villages.
Henry lives in Abbots Leigh, and is married with two children. He is a keen golfer and also enjoys travel and skiing.

Edmund Dodds

Edmund was born and educated in London.
He 'cut his teeth' in the world of estate agency in the South East, specialising in sales of country homes in Surrey and Kent. He also has experience in the international property market working for a prestigious agency in South West London.
He relocated to Bristol in 1998, and lives with his wife in Abbots Leigh where they ae well known in the local community have raised their two adult daughters. Edmund, who now has 39 years experience in the industry, is a long-established member of the National Association of Estate Agents (having been awarded a Fellowship in recognition of professional standards) and has a loyal following amongst many clients that he has assisted repeatedly during his time in Bristol.
His pastimes include walking, cycling, sailing and an interest in maintenance and running of some collectable motor cars.

Marcus has worked within the property industry for 25 years and brings with him a wealth of experience both as an agent and a developer, in fact Marcus worked for Hydes as a fresh-faced negotiator in the early noughties, so it is great to welcome him back as a partner.
Marcus is a very proud Bristolian, and has always lived in the city, attending Bristol Grammar School, with which he remains very involved through the Old Bristolians Society. He is a strong family man who has two Children who also attended Bristol Grammar School. In his spare time Marcus is a keen golfer and skier.

Emma Tappenden
Senior Sales Negotiator
Emma grew up and was educated at St Ursula’s in Bristol . She started her career as a Nursery Nurse and managed several local nurseries before going on to work in Sales, Regeneration & Events. Emma has bought many transferable skills to Hydes which include excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Having worked for Hydes for over thirteen years, Emma has gained good knowledge of the local area and the property industry. Outside of work Emma enjoys spending time with her two daughters, walking her dog, art, cookery and yoga.
